Alexander Technique is a somatic mindfulness practice that brings awareness, release of tension, and ease of movement to those who practice it. In this class we will explore tools that you can apply to everyday life to ease stress in the body and improve coordination. The activities in this class will be low impact and meet the students where they are at. Students will practice means of recognizing and undoing habitual patterns that get in the way of natural movement, finding more flexibility and choice. You can expect to find improved alignment and efficiency of movement as you strengthen the mind-body connection.
