Evander Berry Wall; the man who had everything by age 18 and chose to use it to buy 5,000 ties and 500 pairs of pants to become fashion’s “King of Dudes.” Through striking costumes, projections, and clown, this interdisciplinary work examines wealth, social responsibility, and excess, connecting historical opulence to contemporary conversations about status and privilege.

Simple Machines Simple Machines is a Minneapolis, MN based theatre company who creates work guided by humanity’s fundamental relationship with storytelling and community. Fueled by the urgency of new works developed collaboratively and shared collectively in a theatrical space to make the complex more simply shared and considered. Recently Simple Machines was chosen to be a part of the inaugural cohort for Park Squares Lab Series which offers theatre makers of all backgrounds the chance to take artistic risks and present at their professional regional theatre.
