Classes are sometimes outdoors. The natural areas of the beautiful north coast are excellent classrooms!

  • Generally you want to wear clothes you can move in, and layers are suggested. For classes in the main building, you’ll be working in bare feet or soft-soled studio shoes.

For outside classes and adventures, plan to bring sneakers or hiking boots and wear layers temperatures can change from location to location.

  • We ask you to communicate with your instructors (both in advance as you register, and on a daily basis in class) if you have any injuries they should know about, or other accommodations we can make on your behalf.

All students sign an Accident Liability Form. We ask you to take care of yourself responsibly We have Emergency Procedures posted in all the studios and in the student lounge.

We have diagrams in the lounge, and the hallway outside, that map out where all the First Aid Kits, Fire Extinguishers, etc. are located.

We have First Aid kits in all the studios and in the bathroom in the student lounge. If any supplies are low, please notify the Administration.

If a minor accident occurs, we will ask you or a witness to fill out an Incident Report. These are obtained in the main office or the main studio, and should be submitted to faculty once filled out.

Anything that is an emergency is a 911 call.

  • The studio for your class is available to you at least 15 minutes, and often up to an hour, before class time.

Additional studio times that are available to you for rehearsals outside of class will be communicated by faculty on a weekly basis.

You are able to use the student lounge before and after class to store belongings or use the kitchen, which has a refrigerator/freezer and microwave.

We ask you not to leave food overnight and also to clean up after yourself, so we can keep the student lounge clean and pest-free for everyone.

There are Mens and Womens restrooms off the hallway on the ground floor and a gender-neutral bathroom off the student lounge upstairs.

You are welcome to use the backyard picnic tables before or after your class as well.
