Peter & The Wolf, by Sergei Prokofiev, was written in 1936 for orchestra and narrator, and has become one of the most popular pieces for young audiences around the world. Each character and animal is represented by a particular instrument and musical theme. Dell’Arte is thrilled to welcome back the Eureka Symphony in this chamber version of the piece. The Eureka Symphony’s 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. performances are free. An “instrument petting zoo” opens at 10:00 a.m. to give young audiences a chance to touch and hear the instruments before the show.
